How long should my hair be for waxing?
For the best results, hair should be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice. This allows the wax to grip the hair effectively. If it’s shorter, the wax may not be able to remove it properly.
What should I do before my wax appointment?
Before waxing, exfoliate the area a day or two in advance to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs. After waxing, avoid hot showers, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours to minimize irritation. Moisturizing the skin can also help soothe any redness.
How often should I get waxed?
